Business Continuity Manager

This position requires a seasoned Business Continuity Manager to design, develop, and test emergency response and business continuity plans.  The right candidate will work with our client in the telecommunications sector, providing advice and assistance to departmental representatives to develop and maintain unit emergency response and business continuity plans.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency plans
• Provide expert advice to departmental representatives on plan development and recovery activities
• Conduct BIAs and risk analysis to determine prioritizations and recovery requirements and identify vulnerabilities
• Review and recommended business and information technology recovery strategies, physical facility requirements, and resources
• Execute plan activities during a crisis event or incident

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline as asset
• 5 – 10 years of business continuity exposure
• Experience telecommunications environment and project management experience as asset
• Industry designations are preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills
